Woodmill Art Studio is run by local artists Louise Ørsted Jensen and Rachael Clark.
Together, we bring experience across painting, printmaking, mixed media and performance art. Our workshops combine practical techniques with creative exploration, whether focusing on a single process or experimenting across a range of materials.
Held in the light-filled top room at Woodmill, our sessions are welcoming, inspiring and designed to help everyone leave with artwork they're proud of, greater creative confidence, and new skills to build on.
Upcoming Workshops
Join us for a cosy evening of festive printmaking and create your own set of handmade Christmas cards.
In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll design and carve your own Christmas-inspired lino block, learn the basics of relief printing, and experiment with ink and paper to create a set of 10 unique Christmas cards to take home.
You’ll also keep your hand-carved lino block, so you can continue printing more cards at home for years to come.
No previous experience is needed — just come along, get creative and enjoy an evening of making, printing and mulled wine in the studio.
Join us for a cosy evening of wreath making, festive creativity and mulled wine.
Using a beautiful selection of seasonal greenery, foliage, berries, branches and natural decorations, you’ll learn how to build and decorate your own Christmas wreath from scratch. We’ll guide you through the process, while giving you plenty of freedom to create something that feels completely your own — traditional, wild, minimal or somewhere in between.
No experience is needed and all materials are provided. At the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a handmade Christmas wreath ready to hang on your door, and hopefully feeling suitably festive.

Woodland Lino Printing: A Christmas Gift-Making Workshop
Create something personal for someone special this Christmas. Join us for an evening of woodland-inspired lino printing in the beautiful upstairs room at Woodmill Coffee & Kitchen, where you’ll print two tea towels to give to loved ones — or keep them for yourself!
Take inspiration from the forest, from oak leaves, acorns and mushrooms to squirrels, badgers, foxes, rabbits, blackbirds and robins. Choose a favourite motif or combine a few to create your own woodland pattern.
We’ll guide you through developing your design, carving your lino and using fabric printing ink to build a pattern across your tea towels. Whether you prefer a neat repeat or a playful scattering of shapes, you’ll make something that feels like your own.
We’ll have inspiration and templates available to help you get started, with plenty of room to bring your own ideas. No previous lino printing experience is needed.
A relaxed, creative evening and a chance to enjoy making thoughtful, useful Christmas gifts by hand.
